Storm damage
After the storm, get a clear look at your roof.
We inspect wind, hail, and tree damage, document what we find with photos, and explain your options — including how an insurance claim generally works.
What we check
Damage isn't always visible from the ground.
- 01
Lifted, creased, or missing shingles
Common after high winds; can let water in long after the storm passes.
- 02
Hail impacts
Bruising or granule loss on shingles, dents on vents, flashing, and gutters.
- 03
Tree and debris impact
Punctures and deck damage from limbs, plus debris blocking drainage.
- 04
Interior signs
New stains, drips, or damp insulation that point to an active leak.
Insurance, honestly
What we can — and can't — do for a claim.
- Will my insurance pay for a new roof?
- That depends entirely on your policy, the cause and extent of the damage, and your insurer's own inspection. No contractor can promise approval or a payout amount.
- Can you help with the claim?
- We can inspect and photograph the roof, explain what we found, and share that documentation with you and, if you choose, your adjuster. The claim itself is between you and your insurance company.
- What will I pay?
- If a claim is approved, you're typically responsible for your deductible and any work your policy doesn't cover. If it isn't approved, we can still give you a retail estimate.
- Should I file a claim before calling you?
- That's your decision. Many homeowners prefer to have the roof looked at first so they understand what's there before contacting their insurer.
